Two actions in the district court for Hennepin county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, one by Sophie Caroline Hurr for personal injuries sustained in a collision between the auto driven by her husband, Lawrence L. Hurr, in which she was a passenger and that of defendant; and one by said Lawrence L. Hurr for property damage and consequential damages in connection with his wifes injuries. The cases were tried before Leslie L. Anderson, Judge, and a jury, which returned verdicts of $100 and $180.50 for Sophie and Lawrence Hurr respectively. Plaintiffs appealed from an order denying their alternative motion for a new trial on the issue of damages or for a new trial on all issues.
